I am interested in dating the year of manufacture on my recent acquisition of a Howatt Custom Bushmaster. It appears that I can only upload one image. Any info from this poor image is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I know you have told us in the past Larry who did the lettering on those bows. That lettering for me is worth the price of admission. Of course I like it best on the Venom, truly your best design.

I am grateful for the responses. You may have gathered that I am new to the community. This bow may have just come into my possession, but it will be with my family for generations to come. I look forward to the first meal it brings us out of the woods. Thanks, Larry. It's a true work of art.

They made them for a few years with minor changes, I have two. They are great shooters and very little of hand shock for the style of bow that they are. Recommended brace height was 7.25 to 7.75 inches measured from the deepest part of the grip. Of all the longbows I have shot these are my favorite. DANNY

The lady who did the writing was Debra Paddock. Real artist.

Those were good old bows. I had one that I let my brother in law talk me out of.

I sold mine back around 2000. Had bought it 65# and when my shoulder went I couldn't shoot it anymore. One of my all time favorites.

I have one that my brother gifted me in '95. It looks identical to yours except mine has a 65lb pull. I'm wishing it pulled 55lb now....lol!

I loved my bushmasters for years, still have three, at 45#, 55# and 60#. The last one has been "for sale" for years, but few shoot those heavy bows anymore.
