Well I’ve been at this game about 30 years and finally the bow arm has some major pain on the bow arm elbow coming to full draw (I’m a lefty) have a couple Liberty’s and love em, but the pain continues, my son is a lefty and took them over, but I wanna shoot bad, especially with my boys, contacted Allen and he had a lighter weight Lefty “layin” around (lol) a Contender in 68” 42#@28” Cocobolo and Yew , and man do I love it, super smooth and great performance and craftsmanship which I already knew would be, I draw 30” and never thought I’d go this light, but it’s awesome, the man and his bows are incredible to say the least , gettin older is tough no doubt, but I’m shootin again !!! All I can say is Thank You, Allen Boice, incredible L/Bs and Human Being ......

That's funny , I had his name shortlisted as a contender for my next ASL bow . Our stories are similar----I had a few of his in 60# range back in 2000's but next one has to be 45 for me ----getting older and few too many abdo surgeries taking toll. Oh yeah and Allen was always tops , quick turnaround too.

Have 2 of Allen’s creation and the bows are great, as is Allen, Will not go wrong with a Liberty

Adam, I've been at it since 1964 (officially) and started out around that weight. That bow will kill anything you need it to, and will keep your shoulders from separating as well. Allen's bows are as good as any.

Your right George, you’d think throwin kegs around for 20 years would have my back neck shoulders shot (as I’m a delivery driver for Budweiser) but so far so good, but not the bow arm elbow, but this long Contender is helpin a lot , lovin it, spits out 550 grain arrows real nice !!

Adam, I have one of Allen’s bows similar to your. specs only a couple of pounds heavier at my 30-inch draw. It is really a nice, smooth bow that I shoot well. I would buy another just like it. Enjoy!

I am the lucky (soon-to-be) owner of a Liberty Contender. I can't wait. Should be here Monday. I just gotta say, the weight thing has kept me outta business for a few years and I decided to give her another whirl. I have a deathwish 52# but the one I have coming is a 45#er... took a LOT for me to lay aside the Deathwish, as in my opinion, Steve builds one of the best bows. I am told that Liberty's has less handshock...that will be a welcome attribute...

I have two of Allen’s bows, one at 42 and the other at 45, both excellent shooters. Friends have shot my bows and they now have their own. Allen makes high quality products.

Some of the nicest bows you will find. Very well built and Allen is a super nice guy to deal with. I have a 68" English and a 66" Contender. They both shoot really sweet. Smooth and quiet bows.

Y'all getting me excited again! I was just out and shot my old 62" 40# Grizzly...that ole how shoots good too, but I can't wait till my Liberty arrives....

I had an English built for my by allen. The bow was amazing. I had to sell it due to a divorce. I regretted it badly. I found out the guy I sold it to, pawned it. I checked every pawn shop around never found it. I would have bought it back in a heartbeat.
