Many of you probably already know this but I have to shout out to Big Jim on his strap on quivers. I saw one at a 3D shoot a few weeks ago and ordered one. The quiver is exceptionally well made, functional and simple. I am not about giving a bad rap to other quivers at all. I have used both Great Northern and Selways and really like them too but the Big Jim quiver is just outstanding in every way. It also costs about half as much as the competition. Look one over, I think you will be impressed.

Big Jim's is also one of my favorite's. I have used some of the best named quivers, and they were fine but Jim's is still my favorite. Simple and easy to use. Works great and like you say" at a good price ".

I would like big jims quiver more if it had a post to connect the hood to the gripper. Maybe new models have it. I'm not sure

It is a fine quiver though.

Mountain Man, that does not look like a longbow to me? AND are those mouse traps on the limb butts?? :D The quiver is really nice, I will agree I wished it had the post or something keeping the hood and base aligned. (guess you could always leave one arrow in the quiver...)

Ha Ha, mine was on the kitchen table when I got home from work this morning,5 arrow, fits my No. Mist Baraga just perfect, very easy to install, lite weight and not bulky at all. Hope to give it a test run tomorrow.

I just got one a few months ago. Well made, easy to install and half the price of the "big name" quivers. Load it with arrows and it comes off and on like a one piece.

You can order and adaptor/rod that allows the arrows to be kicked back. He had them at the Appling Archers shoot last Memorial day. Probably has them on his web site. I have one of his quivers and like it just fine.

Thanks guys. The bracket we have is called a deflex bracket and it can be added to any of our quivers, old or new. It sells for $20 and is a simple and lightweight upgrade that allows you to move your arrows rearward to line up with your limbs on a shorter more curvy curve without hindering the feel.

We have also made a couple subtle improvements to the quivers that aren't noticeable to the eye, but make them slighlty more solid on the bow all in our constant commitment to improve our quality.

Thanks, BigJim

No reason to drill holes in a bow now that there is Big Jim's quiver!

How bout a 2 arrow stalker Big man? ; )

The Little Barb quiver. : 0

I like a single arrow on my selfbows when they get hunted a big Jim's strap on quiver would be the,,,,,,ah,,,,,stuff when im tryn to go minimalist

Mountain Man... the arrow spacing on the target almost exactly matches the arrow spacing in the quiver... coincidence? :)

Nope dumb luck and a tendency to pluck a string on release
