I think it might be a Whelin Custom. I have only heard of them. I am not even certain that is the maker. They were made in the 1950s is all I know besides the fact they also made broadheads. This is a memory from childhood so I may well be wrong.

Wilson white ?

It is a Wilson White custom. Mid 50's bow, he was the head bowyer for Frank Eicholtz and purchased the business from Frank in about 52-53 time frame. There are several people on here that can tell you allot more about White bows than I can, but from what I understand they are very good shooting bows and were exceptionally well built. You can find allot of information doing a search for White Custom on this site also.

Once you see one Wilson White bow, you will be able to recognize many of them. Smooth lines for sure and very elegant looking.

it is a white bow, i own one just like it in a 64in length 48lb

It's a terrible bow made in San Diego....like other San Diego bows or anything designed in California they were weird.

They're also very dangerous to shoot and even if they are not, they're inherently inaccurate.

I suggest you ship it to me so I can dispose of it in the proper manner by firing 250,000 arrows through it. You will thank me.

Seriously, a White Custom is a great bow that is hard to find and displays classic San Diego design...smooth and fast...enjoy shooting that classic!

On the serious side, it is most likely constructed with woven Eicholtz glass. While the woven glass was revolutionary at the time, it is known to be prone to breakage. Inspect often.
