I need a few new game cameras. Any suggestions for cameras that have audio? Thanks for the help.

I get decent audio from my Bushnells

I too like the Bushnell cameras. Mine have been clawed and chewed by bears and are still working. The audio works great. I have three of them and had them for at least five or six years now.

Now I am puzzled, audio? Why in the world would that be important?

Because it's nice to be able to put sound to the video. The same reason you don't sit there and watch tv with the volume muted.

I think it would be cool to hear the animal vocalization. Never thought of that before

So what would you expect the animal to say hello Wilbur? Like in Mr. ed?

Whats to care about them until your hopefully sitting on top that you really can't hear from stand anyways all that well.

just another gimmick I see it as or something to break in camera and not work as well as we would like.

I'm using Brownings with audio.

Had a mating coyote set up right in front of one and he howled and yeaped the whole time. It was neat getting to hear him and watch him at the same time. Also had a group of hogs feeding and rooting in front of one set more than once They really are loud sometimes. The other good thing is you can video yourself or others and have audio also.

Nice feature at times

If you haven't had a bear sniffing and chewing and clawing your camera, you haven't 'experienced' trail cams at their most awesome ;-)

And until you've used the video function on your camera, you don't know what you're missing. This youtube video changed my way of playing -

It would be nice to hear the natural sounds with video.

Would also be nice if the same people that always seem to spout some kind of sarcasm could stay off threads unless they have something constructive or positive to add.

The reason I am interested in audio is because I live in Washington state. Last year I had two bears fight in front of my cameras for several minutes. Great photos but did not have my camera set on video mode. I also have had many bull elk over the years look like they are bugling and want to go from just photos to video with audio.

I had these two cows having a little trail rage. Sure would like to see what sounds they made.

I set this camera on a water hole. Looked like a stampede coming into it. It would have been nice to have it on video.

LOL... Finally caught Bigfoot bending over on cameras but would have loved to have him on video. (Yes it was only a black bear)

Whenever I get this many elk in one photo I can bet there was lots of vocals going on.

So when this cow turned her head around like this could you hear his neck crack?
