We'll kick this week off with a long one! Shoot the long bomb, then take 3 steps forward and follow it up with a 2nd shot. Shoot from greater than 40 yards if you can. If you can't shoot that far because of your target area, just shoot from as far as you can.

God Bless,

CD

Chad, I can't walk forty yards let alone see that far.........LOL!

Good luck everyone

Whoeee it was ugly. I was shooting at the bag. First shot at 40 almost missed to the left. Moved up to 37 for second one. I hope to see some better shooting than that!! Jim

Crud, I forgot about the second shot, I did shoot at forty though and it looks like I couldn't see the target.

Oh well I'm going to hide and try again tomorrow.

Thanks for the challenge, CD. I managed my shots from 38 and 35 yards. The long shot hit the kill zone and the 2nd shot hit the neck. I also surprised myself today. I guess all that longer range shooting I've done with Lon in the past paid off today. Shooting my '68 K-Mag @50# and some Bear 2016's. I hope that you all have a nice day today. 28* and beautifully clear skies when I took my shot. Lance

Took the shot from 48 and 45 yards.48 was the left one. I had to go out in the road to get the distance which was interesting since it's covered in a thin sheet of ice. Temperature was in the teens with a 30 mph wind, those two shots were enough for me. Hope everyone has a great day and thanks for the call. Dave

Here's what happens when you try a 50 yard shot through the woods and it clips a small limb......no target in sight. Thought this arrow was lost.....happened to look UP :-)

Don't be modest Drew, we all know you were aiming at the sapling! Lance

43 yards. I only shot one arrow cuz I don't want to lose 1 after a shot like that

First was from 40 yards and was low left. Took two steps forward and shot again. Second went just right of the target so I shot another and it was closer to center.

My 17-yard max as usual; 1 shot... in the dark... with light, but steady rain.

Still in the pie-plate. Would have been on ragged edge of s 7-incher... Tell ya, though... that Howatt Hunter really seems to zip a 2016....

Nice shootin’ fellas! Some of you did twice as well at twice the range!

Well, got home just in time to shoot, although I couldn't see the arrow strike, but could hear it! Thanks for the call Chad, shot at 40, then 3 steps and loosed the 2nd. I'll take 'em, I have been practicing more at longer yardages, and it's paying off! Y'all have a great week and take care!
