My new triple carbon takedown arrived yesterday. I put it together... put a string on it and shot it... all in the same amount of time it took to read this!

Ridiculous...

All the rumors about speed are true. All the things I heard about "zero hand shock" - true. That stuff I read about "smooth draw curve" - all true... it was like silk out to 31". Most impressively - was the sound... or absence in this case. Quietest bow I've ever shot. I took the day off work and thus far "have gotten rid of 'knock high'."

The take-down feature is ROCK solid... so glad I opted for that.

Several months back - I booked a spring bear hunt in Canada, ordered my Centaur and sold my Mathews all in the same week. I'm so gonna kill a bear with this thing...

Of note Jim Neaves is one of the nicest - most patient guy you'll ever deal with. Answered my questions... even the dumb ones.

I honestly wouldn't know how to improve what he's created.

I knew you guys were gonna want pics. I haven't done a glamor shot of it yet... but here's "proof of life."

What length bow and how heavy? How long was your wait as well. It's a dream bow of mine but I can't wait a year or more for one when I don't technically need it ;)

Couldn't have said it better. Nicest bow of any sort I've ever shot. Enjoy!

They really are fabulous bows. I’ve had my Chimera for 7+ years and it’s the best. I would love one of those triple carbon t/d’s but my Chimera is so perfect I haven’t looked for anything else. I sure went through a lot of bows before fining the Centaur.

Tboughty - I bought a Feb slot from a guy selling it on this forum. So... I only had to wait 5 months. That said - "the time is going to pass anyway... may as well have something to show for it." The wait time is long... but few things in this world that are exceptional come easy.

I got it 60" 45# at 28"... which puts me at 50# at my 30" draw. Going back to the range today... gotta find an arrow it likes. Once I get it set up I'll see if my shop will chronograph it for me. Will post.

I still can't get over how a bow that light can have so little hand-shock. It is DEAD in the hand. Will take more pictures.

Jim Neaves is one of the best...no doubt..!!
