I would get one that’s at least 5K RPM. Maybe with the dust collector feature if you have a shop vac. Mines a harbor freight special. Works OK for the few doz. I do of carbons each year. But if I had a space you bet I would have the deluxe saw.

I don't like the abrasive wheel for wood, but the cabelas saw is good for the rest.

For the money harbor freight works just fine, course some folks buy yeti coolers too. It will trim wood/carbon/and aluminum, though the aluminum is hard on the blades.

I have had the Cabelas saw for years and had no issues with it. The price sure has gone up but hasn't the price of everything gone up? I will replace the blade the next time I use the saw. 3 Rivers has a carbide blade that I am sure would last longer than me but not sure I want to spend 40 bucks on a blade for an arrow cut off saw.

I bought a Weston 8000 rpm with vacuum attachment years ago for $100 from Bowhunters Superstore, they are $122 now, it works great. I have a Yeti cooler too BTW, and gave away and threw away half a dozen igloo and Coleman coolers. I'll never spend another dime on a cooler, and probably never will on an arrow saw either.

Yep....Harbor Frieght is what I've used for years. Abrasive cutoff wheel for carbons, and the regular toothed metal blade for wood and aluminum. Why spend 300.00 to do the same thing?

If you shoot carbons the dust collector would be nice. I bought a less expensive model and had to mount it to wood, easy Prices went crazy high last few years. Had to add power cord as well I guess
