LookING to stitch up my own pocket quiver. Anyone have a pattern that works well for thwm, or ideas?? Thanks!!

no but Im guessing you would make a couple layers of stiff leather the same size of your pocket. Make the back high enough to put a belt slot Shouldnt be real difficult unless you want a pouch also

Make one of paper first. It saves expensive leather. Use a pocket for width. Make it long enough to fold up so you just stitch each side for the pocket. leave the back long enough to extend up high enough for the belt loop. One piece is the easiest construction. More pockets more complicated but the one piece is very simple. I never bothered keeping a pattern. >>>----> Ken

Measure your back pocket to belt line or above.

I like the ones that have a pocket/pouch to store stuff.

I like the pocket ones too--I'm trying to come up with what exactly I would use it for and what I want to carry in it...Love seeing the pics--they help get the ideas flowing. THanks!

Art Vincent

makes some great pocket quivers, and for about the same price you pay For your leather. There's one called "Peter's pocket quiver, it also has a pocket on it where you can hold an extra string and shooting glove.

I cheated, Traced the outline of my friends on paper. Then added a pocket. Trick was making the front piece of quiver and back of quiver pocket the same piece of leather. Had some moments lacing it up. The quiver goes in trousers pocket while the pouch rides outside. I like this style for summer shoots. I like to travel lite, bow, arrows in quiver and a bottle of water. The pouch carries assorted stuff.

Nice m60gunner. Sounds like you started with almost an "S" piece of material--good advice on making things a little easier!
