I’m looking for a layer to wear over my first lite long underwear and under my heater body suit.
Tried wearing Cabela’s bibs and parka but it was too heavy and bulky.
Thinking of trying to find a basic wool pant and sweater but where?

Have you looked at First Lite's other stuff. They have everything needed for layering up.

I agree with Lowcountry, I have a few of First Lite's things. I've been real impressed so far with everything I have.

My favorite layer system is thin light weight layers, I like to alternate polly/silk and wool.
If you have nice/soft enough wool you can put that next to your skin but I have found if you stack wool on wool it will sort of bind together and you cant move as freely
in the winter my go to is a polly athletic shirt, wool button up, larger size polly athletic shirt and another wool button up with a wind proof coat on top.
Way thinner and way warmer than a standard bulky coat.

The OP said he wants to use it under a "heater suit". Seems you wouldn't want much bulk, and likely a fleece sweatshirt would work just fine.

I’m looking into all options now
I think the problem I had with the parka and bibs is that it was too tight under the HBS

Don't buy camouflage...... Buy excellent camping hiking gear. And put a camouflage shell over it! There's no need to spend $1,000 on different layers of camo.

Can u tell me what to buy? I’ve got the base layers of first lite and a very good outer shell. Probably a lot of stuff I could use but specifics help
Thanks

I don't know what a 'heater body suit' is. Is it used as an outer layer? If so, it doesn't matter a lot what's under it....it's heated.

Yes it is similar to a sleeping bag but made for hunting.
Looks like first lite has a layering system that will work.
The benefit of the HBS is that u can dress lightly walking to your stand and not sweat because u carry it with u and put it on once in the stand.
