I drive a rollof container truck & you would not believe what folks throw away. Found this today along with other goodies. I have no use for a display type knife it is a 9 11 commemorative knife in a nice wood box if you collect knives & have a place on a shelf it could be yours. Gonna have a drawing in one week. Iv never done this before I Quess you put numbers on peices of papers & draw out of a hat ? Please let me know proper brawling method thanks >))))°>

And there is a website that will randomly pick a number between whatever numbers you put in the blank fields. Lots easier than tearing a bunch of paper with numbers wrote on them into little pieces! :)

I have been seeing 9/11 items in flea markets and antique stores. For me it has been way too recent to toss anything related to it. What a shame if was intentionally tossed.

As a 911 (World Trade Center) responder I understand that "some people" would like to forget the Worst day in our Nations History ! I know I can never forget(Though I wish I could) to many night mares/horrible images, coming up on another "responder health exam" next week. The Freedom we have was paid for with the BLOOD of HEROS ,WHO should NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. We lost to many of HEROS that day , those who simply went to work, or on those flights and THOSE WHO RAN TOWARDS THE DANGER as others fled for their lives ! All those WHO have served , fought and died fighting that Evil that brought down those builds. GOD BLESS those who died, serve and fight to keep our families free and safe. The men and women in uniform in Armed Services or at your local Police and Fire departments THEY ARE ALL HEROS and should never be forgotten. Thank them when you meet them for they may not be here tomorrow , such is the life of a Hero.

More finds this week. The fishing rods I give to a local tackle shop & they repair & give to less fortunate kids. The boots are my size & I'll keep the router & sander. the bow is a youth model and seams well made.I'm gonna give it away in a drawing next week >))))°>

Very generous, but I get what Killinstuff is saying. Posts about dumpster diving aren't strictly following the LW rules, and not really related to trad archery. Not hating, just saying.

Thanks very much Todd and ya'll. Boxcall, I have been lucky. I've been avoiding most of the givaways for that reason, to give other's the chance. But this time I had to go in, I really like that knife. No more entries for me now for quite a while. I do have a nice large fringed leather coat that I am going to give away as a pay forward some time this spring when I get it out of storage. I never wear it and it would look good on,someone at those trad shooting or knapping rendevous. Its coming...

Its really not dumpster diving I take the dumpster to the landfill. So it's trash scrounging

Nothing wrong with it todd, no need to explain. Stuff is stuff, no matter where it comes from. Free is all the better.
