I know the folks at Blacktail Bows have a newly designed Elite V.L. version with an 18 in. riser for 2018. I have had a number of their other bows and love them. I am very interested in this new version. Has anyone shot or seen one? Do you own one? Love to hear of your experiences...

I was doing a search for Blacktail bows and came across this older post. I'm sure Norm has shipped out many in the past 11 months so I would like to reask Paul's questions. Also, any knowledge on the I beam in the handle as mentioned on their website?

Beautiful bow like all Blacktails.people thinks they are just too pretty and most don't realize how great performers they are.

Beauty of a bow, was this the 2018 model Paul had asked about? Also what's the AMO?

I am not a supporter of beautiful fancy bows, but that is a real looker.

Congrats on your taste and the workmanship is outstanding.

There is no reason you can't shoot like that every day.

I have one coming this week. If you look at them they seem to be the same just 16 inch vs 18 inch riser. Looking forward to Elk season. I have a new bow and a new young horse which will be his firs hunt as well. We will be doing alot of scouting during the summer lots of good rides
