I may try to make it. Just have to see where it is compared to Milford

From: PeteA

Hunt OH - It looks like Cos Cob 35-40 minutes from Milford CT. Hope you can make it. It's going to be great time.

Excellent! I will pass the word.

Cos Cob is the middle of Greenwich - exit 4 or 5 from 95; 5 from the North. Exit 33 off of the Merritt/Hutch. If you’re coming up/across from NYC/NJ, it’s quicker to come up 95.

And if you have to cross the Hudson, it’s cheaper, easier and faster to check out the new Tappan Zee bridge, which is really impressive, except that they’ve renamed it the Cuomo; you can call it that if you want, but I’d expect a guy on his way to a “Trad-only” shoot would stick with the original name, given in recognition of the original tribe who lived there....

MetroNorth line, you can get off at either the Cos Cob or Greenwich stations.

Bring lots of arrows! Some of the shots back up to swampy areas and (this being New England) they pretty much all back up to rocks! And there are several spots where you can really air ‘em out, if you like...

Nuts! Didn't do any better with the pic than I did with the shooting! (and you even can't see the ones that landed behind the backstop) ;)

Closed in to 65 and tried again...

I was still feeling pretty cocky when I got to this one at about 55....

Line wasn't actually all that bad, though....

Hope to bring my shootin' buddy and his Big Bro...

He was having a pretty good day! We were passing a group of compounders when we shot these....

I'll have the next ten or eleven weeks making this course (that is bad ass already) fun and interesting for all those that attend... Anyone who knows me and has shot my backyard course in The Catskills always has a blast! Cos Cob has a 40 plus target 3D course and many back stops with paper animal targets to (save) your arrows in case of a miss.

Running Buck and Hog Targets... Turkey In Tree... Foam (muzzy style) Blocks...

Spinning Wheel Foam Targets... Thread The Needle Thru Green Worms...

Leopards Killing A Doe... Swap Meet & Trade Blanket...

Hope to see you there!

Hey Hickstick as mcgroundstalker (the organizer) states all trad archers welcome! Here are a couple reasonable hotels in the area. Stamford CT is no more then a 15 minute drive to Cos Cob CT. Bring the crew!

Crowne Plaza - Stamford CT https://www.ihg.com/crowneplaza/hotels/us/en/stamford/stmcp/hoteldetail

La Quinta Inn - Stamford CT http://www.laquintastamfordnewyorkcity.com/?cid=local_2051

Hope to meet you there!

From: GF
Date: 26-Jan-18

The LaQuinta’s not bad - we lived there for a week or so after Sandy blew us out... LOL

But the Belgian waffles are pretty good, and the diner downstairs... Let’s just say you won’t have to worry about keeping your pants up on the way home!

Was at the club yesterday. Did some more prep work. Total 3D targets equal 49. Ten foam block stations. Many paper targets. Oh Yea! Built and installed a running rabbit ramp using aerial targets that roll out and bounce away from shooter!

Hope to see some of you there!

From: PeteA
Date: 07-Feb-18

Hey boys this is going to be a great shoot! mcgroundstalker is designing some really unique targets and some really interesting shots. And the $20 a head for non-members fee includes lunch. Shoot all day and lunch too. You can't beat that!
