Yankee: if you divide .510 (deflection) into 26 you get 50.98# or 51#. vice/versa 51# divided into 26 gives you deflection. That gives you spine or deflection for a 28" arrow, for an arrow longer than 28 the spine will reduce 5# for every inch. An arrow shorter than 28" the spine will increase 5#/inch
