OK, I been thinking about how to word this question to you'all, so I'm just ask 2 question with a few examples.

1) You had a successful hunt,Seen Alot of game and even connected, But the weather was terrible. you go cold and miserable. Or you were at a archery shoot with no one you knew, the weather wasn't good. GOOD or perfect?

2) The sun is out it nice, you got your, Kid, wife, or hunting buddy with you, you all enjoyed your day very much, but wasnt susseful hunting or shooting. Good or Perfect?

Perfect for both . . . I've never been cold and miserable if I had a successful hunt!

It's all good.

Take it all for what it is! And be thankful for it. Every day that you spend on this side of the dirt is a gift. Like Jeff said, it's all good!

Everything is good or perfect depending on your definition of those terms. My buddy has had 15 back and neck operations, has Lymes disease and normally has pain somewhere. He can't turn his head/neck to the right, but he does good to get out and do what he wants most of the time. Terms are relative to context. I'm 72 and can do what I want most of the time so that's plenty good for me.

Both are perfect. I agree with the "this side if the dirt" and "all good" train of way of thinking.

I don't like the throw off catch phrase, "it's all good." It's not. Bad stuff happens, too. But in the examples given, those are what makes life real and worthwhile.

It’s Good on both terms ! Different but perfect! Ken

Hmmm, for me a perfect hunting trip doesn't depend on the weather, I can dress for that, and if I didn't, well that's on me. But if I was out there, with one or two good friends, sharing the experience, yeah, that would be perfect.

As to being out with family, too old for that to even matter anymore as they don't have time or inclination. My good wife, now that's back to the perfect again.

It all seems perfect to me anytime I have the gas money and somewhere to go shoot and the doctors or dental surgeons haven't cleaned me out.

Just like most on here I suppose, was snowed out the second day at a 3-D, shot in woods with no air movement in 3-D events well over 102 degrees F, hunted in constant heavy rain and stuck on a mountain in snow, and always came home with a smile. All those situations made for good dog stories with my best friend and hunting partner too, as we would laugh, and laugh again about those times and couldn't wait to do it again.

If most of the elements are there, it's a good time. If ALL of the elements are there and you could wish for nothing more, than it was PERFECT!

In my mind the difference between good and perfect is between the ears. I expect to be cold and miserable at some point during the hunting season and to end it with game is perfect in my mind. Anytime spent with my wife and son will always be perfect. Throw in a buddy and it perfecter.

I'd say perfect. There were no setbacks, just all positive. It was a choice too, so that makes it even better. Freedom.

Both perfect.....Just take a look around...There are lots of folks that for one reason or another can't do any of those but desperately wish they could !!! If you can....Cherish the opportunities and capture the moments!!!!!

I agree. Every day that I wake up is a good day. Some may be better than others, but they're all good. The days that really go well are just icing on the cake.
