Can do it with one hole in the stop. Spin by hand until pencil line starts to go.

I use the side wheel on my sander with a little wooden jig I made that can be set for either a nock taper or a point taper. I rotate the arrow by hand as well. But that is an interesting approach. I have to be very careful to get an even taper with my setup.

Cameron, I have the same set up, been doing them like that for about 15 years now. Very quick and easy.

Cameron Root, I do it more or less like the other guys mentioned with a grooved block but I am intrigued. How do you regulate the angle? Do You mark the shaft then just elevate the back of it and eyeball when the angle cuts to the line? Always looking for improvements or ways to speed things up.Thanks.>>>----> Ken

Yes I mark the shaft. You can see it. The drill puts me to far back for my liking but I am going to make another hole a fuzz higher and 2 step it
