I was working on a bridge in eastern OK. close to the state line and found river cane / bamboo growing wild by the river. Also found some stone points. Seems we were not the only ones to use the cane shafts. Anyway I cut some and have it drying in half dozen bundles.

The very best are going to come from Jaap Kopedrayer at Yumi. He grows his own bamboo, especially for arrows and bows.
