My first skins were 3 spliced copperhead. I thought I knew better than my teacher. They were looking great. I figure I would do the very last bit of scale removal with packing tape. That work great was at the stage where nothing was coming off. Last try it catch the skins and pulled a big chunk out. Well that was a set back. After getting them off the tite bond 111 was a chore to get off. That took many months to get around to it. Cotton mouths are on it now.

Looks nice. Try compressed air to remove snake skin scales. Always blow towards the tail of the skin and don't hold the air gun tip too close to the skins, about 3" is usually pretty good.
