Always wanted one of those! Presently I just c clamp a board on the table at the correct angle to use as a guide.

My taper sanding block is not near that pretty. For any DIY guys make it wide enough to put a runner on the bottom to fit the Miter Slot. Then you don't have to fool with squaring it up to clamp it every time you use it and the angles will always be the same. >>>----> Ken

I need one of those disc sanders! I’ve got the block, got the drill, and I’ve got about 94 shafts that need nock & point tapers...

Seems like that’d beat the snot out of my pencil-sharpener taper tool...

It does and a disc sander can be bought for way less than the machine sold for that purpose. It also comes in very handy for many other things. >>>----> Ken

I also use mine processing wild Turkey feathers.

I used mine today. Just clamped a square on the table for a guide. Lance.

This was 40% or more off so it made it worth having. That combined with the block makes an affordable multi use tool in comparison to that specific tool.

Here is mine, the taper depth is adjustable, does both point and nock tapers. The angle iron on the right is used to taper bow laminations and I have even used it to taper the ends of dowels used for goal posts on endless string jigs. Cost about $10 to make.

I would make one of these if I had the tools.
