Joe can fix or make just about anything. I've know him for over forty years and he still amazes me.

From: Trooper
Date: 30-Dec-17

I have been trying for several years to find someone to fix that handle for me and kept getting shot down. I even tried dealing with Bear to no satisfaction. Then out of nowhere Joe fell into the picture and without hesitation took on this project for me. I've never dealt with or talked to Joe before now. He just decided to help me with this because of who he is! Joe is awesome and very talented and has been a blessing to me. Thanks Joe and thanks to you guys who made those positive comments about me, very humbling! Murray

How the heck did you get it out of the riser?

From: 4FINGER

Well Done...Good Guys Do Win on Both Ends...4finger

From: Cameron Root

Must have tigged it in position.

From: SB
Date: 30-Dec-17

Dosn't look like it's all the way in the riser in that first pic!

From: Trooper
Date: 30-Dec-17

SB it's not; Joe's waiting for the glue to come in.

From: SB
Date: 30-Dec-17

Which brings us back to my first question! I know how they are installed....how you get them back out without ruining the riser.. ? Trade secret?

Very Good work and a great thing to to for someone and I know that was tough to do.

From: Red Beastmaster

My Dad always said you don't have to know how to do everything, just know someone else who does. Joe is that guy.

I have all sorts of things he's made for me over the years. The latest is a very nice spine tester. Just felt like doing it!

He's always eager to share his knowledge too. After a LONG road trip to a SC hog hunt in my little car I was an expert on geothermal heating! LOL

Thanks Dave well like i said about asking questions . i always ask them that is how we learn i try to never stop learning .

From: HARRY CARRY
Date: 13-Jan-18

I learned more about how a small town runs, too, from Joe, than I ever considered. Though Red, if you had a handful of folks in Suzi for that ride, well, hmmmmm!

Nice work, hvac tech!

hvac tech

I always thought that those limb brackets were magnesium, not aluminum. Did you repair the old broken bracket or make a new one? Thanks for your answer. I thought I knew something about those brackets. Hopefully, I can learn something further.

From: hvac tech
Date: 13-Jan-18

Jerry they are aluminum but let s just let it go there .

From: Orion Professional Bowhunters Society - Qualified Member Compton's Traditional Bowhunters
Date: 13-Jan-18

I'm a bit confused. Why all the secrecy? That's the first Bear riser I've ever seen broken like that. Not likely to be a big market for similar repairs. Why not just share what you did?

True tradesmen always keep a little back. They will if your lucky teach you everything you know.
