What is the best paint for cresting aluminum arrows? Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

On mine I rattle can the cap (primer and gloss) then use the Testors model paint for cresting.

I'm starting a new set, gonna try some rustoleum from a can. I like "one shot" sign painters enamel for cresting. Wraps work well for aluminum also, onestringer has some nice ones.

Automotive lacquer will also work for a base...cap dip. We used it for aluminum back in the 70's. Bohning also sells a product for them that works great.

Same as Chas. I use Krylon for the cap paint. First I scuff up that area a bit with a Scotchbrite pad.
