Anybody own either of these jackets? I am considering the Sanctuary jacket as the description seems to indicate it would be better than the Woodbury for really cold temps.

I just received mine the other day, (sanctuary jacket), I like the looks of it, I wear a large in my daytime clothing, I than ordered the jacket in large also, allow for layering , it fits just right.I think the woodbury is a Gore-Tex jacket and the sanctuary is not. I'm going to try it out , this weekend and see what happens,,,,,,,,,,,,,

How is the bulk of the jacket? I have a problem with bulk with my KOM wool coat, e.g. bulky sleeve gets in the way of string.
I normally wear XXL in daytime clothing and depending on the article of clothing sometimes a 3XL. I would probably need a 3XL in First Lite and hope that would be large enough for layering.
Please let me know how the jacket works for you. Thanks.

the jacket is not bulky at all. my first thought was , it is very thin compared to my cabelas woolmate coat. with the first lite jacket, you will have all kinds of room to draw your bow. on the sleeves. I bet you, you would not need a arm guard to shoot your bow. the sleeves are not puffy are all. not to long or short either. but the hood is very large. on first lite home page, they state whatever size you wear, order the same size in the out wear ..

I just ordered the Sanctuary in 3XL in ASAT. Hope it arrives before our season ends so I can try it out this year.

I have the sanctuary in ASAT, jacket is nice and warm but it's a bit noisy. The material they use in the sleeves on the inside of the jacket are too noisy. I am going to try and find a seamstress and replace the material. Other than that it's a great jacket. I am a wool lover but trying to reduce the bulk too.

I had a sanctuary lackey and replaced it with KOM pullover. Just not into synthetics. It was warm and I shot a deer with it on, but I like wool better.

I’m a wool guy also, but I gotta say my Woodberry jacket and sanctuary pants worked flawlessly with just a base layer. Temp was in the high 20s.

I like my KOM wool parka and bibs. But KOM parka and layers get really bulky and heavy.
