I keep mine handy all year round in Texas. I remember one Christmas Eve afternoon, I was mowing grass in a tee shirt and cut offs and slapping mosquitos.

35 degrees in morning and by the afternoon I had a skeeter on my hand while on stand.LOL

Even bugs are sideways this season.

Jeff, as I get older, I'm finding cold to be almost as bad as skeeters. Almost!

Lucky you- My thermacells never see storage more than a week or two. Just today it will reach 79deg. Although a welcomed cold front will arrive this weekend. I have a ton of awesome wool clothing and I can't use the stuff except for a few weeks each year.

Can a therma cell be used as a hand warmer if you remove the bug killer cartridge?, I thought I heard this somewhere. Bob
