Is the bow 50# at 28 or 50 # at your 29.5 inch draw?

Guy, take a look at Kelly's old arrow site and check out his spine charts. They are spot on. Her is the link; ?www.arrowskp.com

I have a 44@28 Kingfisher longbow from Ben Grahm. She shoot like a dream! I use Gold tip traditional 1535 with 100gr tip. then I use Easton Legacy 2016 with 90 gr. tip and for the wood, I use cedar 50/55 spine with 100gr tip. My draw is 28 and I cut all my shaft around 30/31 to reduce the gap in the gap shooting. Anyway Hummingbird Kingfisher is the faster bows that I have try and it is a real piece of art. I am honored to have it in the Ben's memory!!

The best thing for you to do is get on the Easton site or somewhere similar, talk to a couple of arrow smith's, and decide for yourself.

Decide what length arrow YOU want to shoot, what weight head YOU want to use, what weight arrow YOU are looking for, and go with those.

It makes ABSOLUTELY no difference what anyone else thinks, or suggests.

So if someone has a bow nearly identical to yours it is of no use what info u get from him. Makes no sense. Anyway thanks all for the info.

Makes no sense at all.

Especially if they aren't shooting the same length arrow, drawn the same distance, with the same boradhead, same over all arrow weight, with same string type, same sight window set up within 1/16", same draw weight at draw weight within 4lbs. and so on.

It actually makes perfect sense, and is why manufacturer's created spine charts eons ago. And why there are so many threads here about tuning/choosing arrows and the problems associated with that process.
