This young fellow was on my side of the fence at daylight on the last day of season.

Not in the city limits but everyone knows where he would fall over.

He is a nice one ! Is that a neighbor on that shed in back ground or is that your property also ? I’m sure he would fall in someone else’s yard if I shot him . LOL

He is probably watching the deer, I'm not criticizing, but that is an unusual place for a fire hydrant.
Thanks for the photo, actually here in Florida that is a common site during hunting season, large gathering of deer near the highways and clear areas and in peoples yards. It's as if they know they are safer there.
Actually the woods are so full of hunters, that is the only place they have to go........Ha!Ha!
Thanks for the photo FlynW

Hey Barber, what's the bag limit on neighbors where you live?
I need to kill a mulie. It's the only species that I killed with a compound that I didn't rekill with a bow.

I didn't even notice the fire hydrant at first. Dang! That IS is an odd place for one of those it would seem. Although I know people do things differently across the country. Our fire prevention system where I live consists of : 1) a lot of neighbors 2) buckets 3) a pond.

Unless its inside City limits I'd shoot him on my side of the fence you have no control where he ends up.

That is correct that you have no control where he ends up. However you have an obligation to recover him and you cannot go on other peoples property without permission.

He's roofing the building. Montana towns usually have alleys behind the houses and thats where the hydrants are. Off the busier main streets.

I love you guys. Always good for a laugh. Yes the neighbor is roofing his new shed, yes the deer are wild, the does hang around all year for the shrubs, apples and safety, except traffic, during tourist season the limit is one of each sex from each region. the bucks are pretty dumb in mid Nov. in MT. Have a Wonderful day. God Bless you all.
