Seems like we had some sort of server malfunction on yesterday's thread? Let's try again today. Walk up series; 24, 18, and 12 yards. Be safe and blessed!

Morning all, shots as called. Sure wish I was able to be in stand 23deg this morninmorning. Was able to get in stand yesterday at 1040 and sit till no more light. Had 4 little bucks a doe and two fawns(all within 25yds) visit when sun was up. At very last light a the big boar I'm hunting decided to make an appearance, just ran out of good light to make shot. Trail cam pics sure doesn't do his size justice. Oh 24yds right one 18yds left one 12yd almost hit 18yd nock (which was what I was looking at). Thanks for call...shoot straight

Shot as called. First arrow low in the 24 yards shot low in the kill, pulled the 18 yards arrow (too much thinking) badly to the left, put the 12 yarder right above the 24 yarder in the kill. 56" Morrison Cheyenne, 59#@25", pulled to 25.5" and Carbon Express 250 with 250 grain insert/point combo. 4 fletch with 4 1/4" lower profile banana cut fletching, fluorescent yellow cap dip and black cresting. Can't loose these easily....

Good afternoon, nice shooting so far.

Good luck with the deer and that big hog, Styknstrng.

Tecum-tha, I like bright yellow myself. It shows up the best for my eyes.

Thanks for the call Big John and I hope everybody has a good one.

Thanks for the call, Big John. Shots taken as called with a 1961 Gordon Plastics > Browning prototype. My vertical was okay but my horizontal vector control needs maintenance. Impact moved right to left as I got closer. Might have had something to do with my neighbors....

We have new neighbors, actually squatters. For the past 3 weeks some very hungry visitors are spending most of the day crunching pignut hickory nuts and white oak acorns, which we have in great abundance this year. This ole gal, about 275 lbs, just had one cub this year, and has gotten so full of herself that she continued to munch and crunch 25 yards behind me while I was shooting.

Her cub was born late and was just a tiny thing in March, but having mama all to himself has enabled him to catch up and then some. I took this photo from 7 feet as I drove past on my way into work after shooting. Mama was 30 yards away and never looked up from her brunch.

These calls with anything beyond 18 just kill me, ‘cuz 18 is all the farther I can get!

So I didn’t heed the call today; switched things up instead.

I’ve been shooting the RER so well lately that I strung up the ol’ Howatt just to see what I could do with the arrows that I just received in a trade with BoxCall - about 10 minutes before I took the pic.

First shot was 5” low; moved my nocking point down a bit, and the other 5 grouped into about 4”....

Going for the black spot. Thanks for the call. These first shots make me realize how much improvement I need.

Good day everyone! I managed to land a few today, thank goodness. 23, 18 and 12 for me with 18 getting a little wide to the left. Thank you for the call and the opportunity. Have a good night.

Just in case I don't make it out here to post, I hope you all have a very wonderful Thanksgiving tomorrow. I am thankful for all of you and this great community.

Kindly

Thanks for the call Big John! Several good groups above! Thanks for sharing the bear pics Mark!

I had decent windage on my walk ups but needed better elevation.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

Fantastic pictures Mark. Got home early today so I had a chance to get in today’s shot. The 24 was just a tad low and both the 18 & 12 were high and left. I could tell that I hadn’t shot in almost 2 weeks I need practice.

Thanks for the call Big John

Just thought I'd drop in with my shots this afternoon. Gotta tell ya I did warm up still shooting with a weak shoulder. Shooting with my black widow 38@28 It's dark every night when I get home lately. Got home early enough tonight and decided to launch a few. Walk up starting at 50,40,30,20,10. Don't do that to often so I had to show off. Miss being able to shoot daily with you guys. But I'm always watching.
