Anyone have experience removing Logo from Gold Tip carbon shafts?

Some folks use acetone, some use fingernail polish remover, I don't worry about it.

Acetone and 0000 steel wool. Then wipe clean with Acetone and paper towel. If your sensitive to the Acetone wear a rubber glove, those latex gloves melt. If you can do the work outside.

I kinda like logos, especially when they also have the shaft size. Most people are going to know that they aren't wood anyway.

I remove them to paint on a crown.

Got it, thanks .. acetone & steel wool and a little elbow grease did the trick. Now on to crowning & cresting my new shafts.

They shoot just as good with the logo as without why worry about it

Everybody is sensitive to acetone, it is an organic solvent and is absorbed through your skin and metabolized by your liver, not a good thing. Always wear gloves.

I always removed the logo from the carbons. Sort of cleaned them up a little. I had one of the purple ones come home last Sunday after being lost in the woods for a couple of years. My friend at the club we shoot 3-d a lot founds it and recognized the crest and gave it back at the indoor shoot with a rusted point, broken nock, and all feathers rotted off. All easily fixed and it's back in the quiver.

PVC primer will remove anything, I mean anything. Double check on a scrap arrow just in case it bothers the epoxy bonding the carbon.
