Lance: Thanks and while I may slow down a bit?...if you ever see that I stopped it's probably because I dropped. LOL! ;)
GDS: I'm sure I missed the 60's mags cause I didn't get my first bow until 1965 when I was 7 years old but outside of my tour in the corps?...I've never been without one of some sort and did have a magazine rack full of Bowhunter magazines in the early '80's and always loved fiddling with bows and making my own doo-dads for them. :)
Rcat: I have a very cool friend down my way here who does a lot for archery and loves getting children involved as his son shoots as well. He's also a regular at the bi-annual TBOF events...both the Fall Rendezvous and the TBOF State Championships when Aydar (aka boardname: "cubefx") contacted me before I went too the 2017 TBOF Fall Rendezvous asking if I was bringing my Hex7.5 CH and if I was could he shoot it...of course I said yes and he in turn told me he'd have something special for me when I got there and I wasn't out of my truck long enough to unload when he walked up and presented me with this custom made for me "Pocket Quiver" and I was stunned by the level of quality, craftsmanship and?...just how well thought through this pocket quiver is and also so heavy duty that it's perfectly safe to use 2-Blade Broadheads with and what a great hunting companion it would make as my arrows are held securely, quietly and can be drawn from behind the back or over the shoulder like one might do with a back quiver...I love this thing! :)
Making archery related leather goods is actually just a side hobby of his and told me he does it to decompress from the pressures of his day job but he does have a website called...
"Red Archer Leather Works"
hope I'm not breaking any rules here (and if so mods please feel free to delete) but for your convienience here's a link too it as I just looked it up for you..pretty cool stuff indeed.
