Great shot 9/10, I shot kneeling on one knee, it's difficult shooting these longbows sitting down, plus our grass is very wet in the morning. Thanks for the call CD.

Shooting my Yew longbow 45 lbs.

Cedar arrows I made this year.

Sorry for the multiple, I have been getting carried away when the bow feels good, I marked the first.

Gee I just had a thought, I could pull the other arrows before I take the photo.....DUH!!!!! Will from now on. It's amazing what age will do to your thinking process...Ha!Ha!

I wanted to mention that I sprayed a poly clear coat satin finish on the bow and it immediately turned white, probably from humidity. I'm not going to remove it, so if the bow looks funny to you that is why.

How many coats of clear Ron? To many and it will look milky. JF

My son-in-law, Jeremy, and I shooting together.

He is shooting a Bear Kodiak Magnum and I am shooting a Crow Creek longbow I got in a trade.

Thanks for the call!!

ron, ive had that happen to me before. I figured it was a bad can of poly. I only used 2 light coats. I also left it, kinda liked the look.

Shot as called.17 yards sitting on the bucket. Too high right. Not ideal to shoot with a dress shirt on, but quick before heading to work.

Ron, the bow looks great, excellent work.

Throwback, nice shot.

FS was a little high and right but I'll take it. Thanks CD and y'all have a great day.

Thanks grizz, but it only goes to show that given enough opportunities, I can eventually hit where I'm looking, lol. Nice shot, yourself. What bow are you shooting? That's a beauty.

Good shooting today! I was fooling around with rests and sideplats and strings about 9 hours ago at sunrise and grabbed the Medallion for a quick shot as called from both knees. Got lucky today, or maybe it was necessity..I have been on my hands and knees in the attic the last two nights installing and wiring some new lights in the ceiling of the room below..I don't think I could have made many more shots from my knees this morning!

FYI.........I think some folks are confused on which bow I'm shooting, maybe this will help.

I had a yew bow that I made over thirty years ago, it was a kit. I was straightening one of the limbs and it snapped in half. I was told it was junk which I agreed until about a month ago I was looking at the way it broke, it broke length wise with the bow so I figured that I would try to salvage, I glued the limb back together and waited about two months to cure and then I wrapped the limbs at the beginning of the crack and at the end of it and also in the middle and saturated it with super glue. I put it on my tillering machine and put it through a vigorous work out and it held like nothing happened to it. So now I have my Yew bow back and I'm still dyeing my hickory I just made.

No shooting today for me. Got a cold from my grandson over the weekend. First one in over 15 years. Some excellent shots today. I hope to feel better to join you tomorrow. Lance.

Shot as called while kneeling on 1 knee. Hit high in the shoulder. Been shooting high lately for some reason. Used my 51# Yellowstone Hunter w/ Herritage 150s. After work I only have about 15 minutes to shoot after I get to the club. Then it gets to dark.

Evening again all, shot as called sitting. Just in from work, was nice to put bow together and fling one. Sure wish I could see flight. Sure felt really good results was not bad. Thanks for call....shoot straight.

As called, from one knee. A bit low; probably 8”! And that’s why I keep the 1X4 down there ;)

But ya know.... I was thinking about the elevation and not just focusing on the shot. And that’s what happens - Every Freakin’ Time

Couldn’t resist the Mulligan. But I did think to play it a little bit safe on this one.

Almost on the same line (a bit tighter this time) and elevation not even a half-inch low of Perfect, so still on the ball.

yep, that's a cool bow, for sure.
