My 30 year old archery bag was coming apart and I had a pair of Carhartt overalls that I had replaced. Cut the legs off and had my wife sew me a new archery bag. This is a double bag with inside and outside pockets and a place for everything.

Yep, that's nice. Your wife did a great job on it. My friends laughed at mine when they first saw it. Once they saw how handy it was, the laughter stopped.

A hand made bag with a story behind it... better than anything you could buy.

wow that's pretty cool,,, maybe get those buttons some use by sewing on a couple small leather patches with slits so you can button the lid shut incase you go for a tumble nothing comes out, maybe use same leather on strap for a file or knife holder but great the way it is.

Only problem with that where my trousers are concerned is I don't need a bag that big.

Very cool. I like seeing what some come up with. Little ingenuity and willingness to jump in and just do it. Good stuff!
