Hi Jerry, have waited a long time to say "thank you" to you for doing me so right many years ago when I'd first started shooting a longbow (early 90s). I'd bought one of your bows very second-hand, and pretty soon it developed a crack in the riser, delaminating at the fades. I called you, you told me to send you the bow, which I did. You called me back and said it would be better to replace it than try to fix it, and you made me a new bow to my specs at a near giveaway price. I shot that bow for years, and killed a bunch of deer with it. I finally let it go a few years back because I just couldn't handle 80# anymore, but I kinda wish I'd kept it anyway.

Just wanted to say thanks for being a true stand-up guy and a credit to the business aspect of archery. Glad to see you here on the wall. BTW, I was in Arkansas at the time, now back in Sweet Home Alabama.

Regards, Ken

Hey Ken, Man its so good to hear from you and my wife will be glad too. Your check has been bouncing everyday since the 1990's.How about you buying me an ice cold beer sometime and we will forget about the bouncing check including the interest added. Ill meet you down at the Clover Club on old hwy 280 at noon time tomorrow. Let me know if you can't make it as its no fun drinking alone. Ha Ha! Had you going for a bit. Good to hear from you, your pal JERRY HILL

Yes I forgot about the Cahaba cave. You had to be a bear to go in that place. You could get a flat tire in the parking lot with all the broken beer bottle glass there. Only Grizzly's every lived to tell about that place. Jerry...

Bud, im sure you probably know. But if using a new burning wire or ribbon. Turn burner on and heat it up red hot, then off letting it cool. It will then bend or form easier. Templates are designed to aid in the shaping, but not intended to be force pushed into wire or ribbon. Using your fingers for forming and checking with template several times will be how to do things correctly. I have three young burners set up with a forth on the way for my coming feather production.I hope my templates work for you as well as they do for me, in setting up mine. Another prize will be annouced soon. This is a great page and I want to not only surport those in charge of it, but all the great archers here as well. By me stepping forward with my contest, it will create some fun for us all. From my handshake to your handshake I am your friend in the sport of archery. Jerry Hill
