I took this carved Elk antler in on a longbow trade recently. The antler is 31” long tip to tip. I have more pics to give you a better idea of the carvings. It is a really neat piece of art. I have a Bear Super Mag (48" 45@28") that I would like to trade. I am not quite sure of the year but I believe it is 71-72ish, maybe you guys can tell from the overlays and coin? The bow shoots great and is surprisingly quiet with the bow hush and hush puppies. Someone refinished it at some point without doing a removal of all of th original finish so its not the good finish job. There are finish scratches from hunting and finish crazing but absolutely no cracks or structural issues. It has both the front stabilizer insert and brass side mount quiver inserts. It would be an amazing (visually) bow if you chose to refinish it or you can hunt it like it is. I would like to trade for or towards a 50”-58” Recurve or longbow in the 44- 48@28” range, Bear TD #1 limbs 44-48lbs, ILF short or medium longbow limbs in the same weight range, snake boots in size 9.5 or most anything hunting/outdoor related.

I have a Black Mountain Spirit Sheepeater bow made by Dryad Bows for Brent Rudolph/Black Mountain. A tiny bow with real static limbs that shoots like a big bow. 48" long unstrung, 44" long strung. Rated 42# but is a little heavier. It doesn't stack or pinch even though it's so short. Made with bocote, some black glass and what looks like tempered bamboo or osage, not sure which. String included.

I have a really nice Bear Grizzly (Grayling built) not sure what year... No holes, twists or anything bad. It had a couple of brush scuffs from hunting and the bottom limb has two drops of red paint on it. I never bothered to even try and take them off and they were on it when I received it. Bear Kodiak Hunter 1967 47#. (LEFT-HANDED) This is one of the nicest Bear Kodiak Hunters that I have seen. AMO length is 58”. The decals are light green, complete, and tight. Exceptional condition! All original. It appears to have the original rug rest and strike plate. The original brass coin is securely in place. I believe it to have the original finish – not refinished or oversprayed. No flaws in the glass or wood. Tips are in great condition. Limbs are straight. Edges are tight – no delamination. No holes drilled or repaired. Great collector condition and quality, and a strong shooter for hunting or the range.

Assenheimer limbs - Left Handed. These limbs are new - I am the original owner. I mounted the limbs and shot just a few arrows in the house. They are outstanding - smooth, quiet, and very fast. Don designed these limbs to be high performance. The reason that I never used these limbs is because I have other Assenheimer bows already setup.

They are 55# at 28" and with a standard riser make a 62" bow. (Don's bow length was determined by varying the riser length, not the limb length.) I believe that the veneers are Red Gum over Rock Maple. The wedges, chevrons, and tips made of select grade very fine grain Bocote wood. The tips are 3 layers over the glass / veneers.

I’ve got some old archery books for trade, the Hill book is signed by the author, as is the Nagler book( limited edition). The Pope book is 1930 edition. They are all a little water stained, but in decent shape. I’m looking for a Bear Quiver period correct for my ‘59 Kodiak, vintage Bear items, 1916 arrows, 3 under medium tabs, judo points, feathers, collectible broadheads, and open to offers.

Six like new Carbon Tech 40/65 spined arrows. 32.5" from bottom of nock groove to BOP. Three are 3 fletched with 4" LW shields,(two fluorescent lime, one natural barred) and three bare shafts. Inserts and nocks installed. Will trade for 6 .500 spine 5/16ths diam. carbon shafting, at least 31" or longer. Beman ICS or GT Trads (blems are fine)preferred.

Pictured for trade is my Dickie’s Archery Co, R/H 60” “Fireball”, 50# @ 28” (exactly). I just got this bow as part of a trade. It was Dickie’s top ‘o’ line hunting bow. The limb’s profile says it all. The pros: it’s fast. The riser is mostly Bubinga with Maple and one other tropical hardwood. The medium wrist grip gives the bow a very balanced feel. The cons: three 1/8” holes from a bow quiver, and five 1/16” holes from a sight on the belly side of the sight window, facing the archer. One shallow 1/8” wide dent across the riser, 2 “ from the fadeout. Misc. small scratches/scuffs consistent with it’s age. Newer B50 endless loop string tracks straight groove to groove through the draw. The upper limb tip had a mild twist when I got it, but I straightened it. A particular picture of any part of the bow is available for anyone who’s serious. I want to trade my Fireball for a 1956 Bear Polar, with a dual shelf, 70 to 80#. Will consider 65-69# if the bow is in nice condition and has a nice original grip. I’ll consider other Bear models from that mid 1950’s era, as long as the draw weight is 70# or higher. Basically the transitional Bear recurves aka “longcurves”.

I have up for trade a Mathews Q4 compound bare bow. 28-29 inch draw, 65% let off, 60-70lbs. It’s a very good shape, very accurate makes a heck of finger bow or works fine with a release. String looks good minimal feathering . It comes with a soft case as well. I also have 4 dozen 2117 old school gamegetters. Never used in brand new condition. Finally I have a nice old school wool jacket. It’s very Harvey has a game pouch and wooden buttons. Made in Portland. Good shape but does have one patch.
