Today's shot will be 13 yards from an elevated position. Use what you can to simulate shooting from a tree stand. If you can't, just shoot from a sitting position.

God Bless,

CD

bit high, but I'll take it. kt44mag 66#@28" 600sp28" with 100gr 3 blade up front.

Thank you CD for making the call, hope everyone have a good day today! -ted

______

what I learned yesterday:

1) strong wind can prevents deer from smelling you and allow you to get to your natural ground blind without them hearing you move.

2) deer can also come close to you without you ever finding out that they are there.

3)"perfect" natural blind makes it hard for deer to see you

4) also could mean that in certain cases, shot opportunity is simply not there.

5) ...you can stare at each other until dark without ever being able to take a shot @ 8yd....

live and learn.

Thanks for the called shot CD!

Elevated 12’. Not happy with the result. My windage was off.

From the backyard ladder stand. #1 low in the obstruction. Not sure what I did but as soon as I released I knew it was bad. A quick follow-up got the job done:)

Thanks for the call CD

Shot as called standing on the shooting bench. Not very high. Maybe 3 ft. 51# Yellowstone Hunter with Herritage 250s. Target needs some repairs. Tree stops the pass throughs. Nice call!

Thought I'd have a little fun this evening. Since JF broke that Tamerlane out the other day, took this out of her case this evening. Hoyt Pro-Medalist with some of the bells and whistles that came with it 33#@28" shooting 600 GT ultra-lites. Shot as called off the upper deck of my shop.

It's the only thing that went well this evening. Ruined that longbow I was working on. Dipped the lower limb into my sander working on the handle. Its beyond repair

Placed a target milk jug at 13 yards and climbed the practice ladder stand. First shot was good, just about centered it, so I shot the rest of my hex heads before climbing down. Thanks for the call CD. Best to all.

Good shooting above! Shot as called sitting on a bucket. This is todays F.S but Im hoping this this old .69 Cal. workhorse W/shot will deliver on my F.S tomorrow......Im craving some squirrel and gravy! Great hunting call and Blessings to all.

Well moleman 1 hope its dry for you in the morning. Those old flint locks can get pretty ornery on a damp morning.

If I'm thinking right my old Navy Arms side by side took a 690 patch ball so that's about a 12 gauge with shot!

Old School...tell us about your bow. I like it. Lance.

Anyone with some extra rain can send it our way and would be greatly appreciated. First shot was high the next four well I just decided not to climb down till my pocket was empty. Shot from 14 yards on top of my storage shed about 9' high. Using my bw with carbon arrows.

Good evening FS guys and gals. That's a bummer OB,oops. Been there, done that :-( I did a lot of testing on this bow through the chronograph, so my FS was a little bit shaky. Shot as called. Shooting this smoking ILF from OB. Slightly right. But all things considered I am happy with it. Have a great night everybody. Jf

My almost 11year old grandson shot it,no glove and he was very shocked how fast it was. Plus the cool looks of it. He loves it OB :-) JF
