I know how you feel 9/10. I always say that opening day is like Christmas - it only comes once a year. I haven't missed one since '92 or '93 and damn few in my 49 years.

Was the same last week. Almost didn't go due to the hot temps. I wasn't as excited due to the weather, but I made up my mind to go and I got excited. Barely slept. Glad I went, saw 9 deer and 4 turkey. All just out of range.

Good luck! I am stuck at work today and tomorrow - the first two days of the season. I will be in the woods Monday morning and will be just as fired up as you are. Nothing like the October woods!
