I once had a black cat walk in front of me on Friday the 13th. I was so upset, I also walked under a ladder at a construction site. Nothing ever happened.

Just as good as any other day. Not in the least superstitious.

BOXCALL, I had a bearing go on my '68 GMC half ton, and my right rear tire/wheel and axle came out and flew out across the ditch, through a barbed wired fence and out into the field 150 feet. I had a bed full of my gear and my topper in which to camp out for a week to shed hunt north of Yellowstone. The rear end fell onto the pavement and divoted it until it skidded to a stop. It was on a weekend, and I had to get towed back home. Big $$ spent for that. It sucked to lose that week of sure antler income, but it did not happen on a Friday, nor was it the 13th, so it doesn't matter - $#!+ happens any time, any day, just ask Murphy. No superstition here, just the way the wheel bounces.

Friday the 13th September 1974 I get hit by a car from behind. The guy passed a car,ran off the shoulder of the road,hitting me. I was dead for 15 minutes. So any Friday the 13th gives me chills.

It was 15 minutes. A friend I was walking with had just a few seconds before I got hit asked me the time-10:40. When I returned to the living I asked him what happened. Before he answered me he asked the crowd around us what the time is. Someone answered 10:55.

My mother died on Friday the 13th. Dec 12th 2013. I still am not a believer.

I don't think about it much, but Friday the 13th was a very lucky day for me very, very many years ago.

I was a broke student and chose to wear my least dirty shirt that day. I reached in my shirt pocket and found a folded $5 bill. At the time, one could buy a pack of ciggarets for 30 cents. Could almost have a night out for $5. Made my day. Have considered it a lucky day ever since.

Hey I am serious about this I once shot a black Cat 2 times with a shotgun too. Them animals are demons I come to find out. Was in garden several falls ago and 1rst I saw him I thought ok missed him with arrow coupled times he's slick. Grab gun by the door ba bang knocked him down. What just happened didn't miss him he's swiss cheese I can see it. Looks like he has freekels on his side. I didn't see him for a while then one day he gets brave to show himself again. Get gun and shoot him 2nd time but was a little far though for open barrels but he got the idea when he herd the ba bang little balls zinging at him.

Now he stays clear of garden and house that I am aware of. He is trophy status right now so if I ever get him not sure if I throw him in trash or get him mounted yet?

I arrowed a number of Cats that were ferrel as well a shot gunned some to.

Neighbors Cat is on the hit list to get a dirt nap.

I kinda laughed when I read this, then I just went to fix my coffee before getting my gear together to go hunt this evening and found a huge dead spider in the coffee resevoir. Guess I have had a few pots of spider coffee lately-haha! looked like a wolf spider-just glad it was not a brown recluse,that could have went bad. I am going to take my time and be safe today! Finally got some huntable winds.

I am trying to decide whether to get out hunting or not this afternoon but am nervous about it. Not feeling a 100% like I am in mood to climb today or not and push the envelope it is a spook day is it not? LOL

Friday 13th is my lucky day. My son was born on a Friday 13, and I've always been lucky on that day. Black cats have always been good luck for me also.

Feral s Cats fair game always anyways if you don't have enough respect for others that you live on a property with then things will be taken off you! Its the way of life now isn't it!

What gives me this right is one I'm not a rotten liberal! And if this Cat pisses in my garden and on my bushs and all around and stinks up the place and uses garden as its dumping ground then it dies. Matt Ewing. Kinda sorta not exactly some truth to that "fun fact". The nights templar were in fact a Catholic military order formed in the Early 12th century by the Pope to protect the holy land. During the 14th century king of France wanted an end to the Templars as they were no longer used as they originally ment to be. The pope at that time was from France so the king thought this good time to go into "kahoots", love that word, with the Pope to end them. Yes they were rounded up and arrested on Oct 13th, 1307 but that is not necessarily the motivation for bad luck. Not all of us believe the Da Vinci code. Some believe it became popular in 1907 from a book called " Friday the 13th". To me it's just another day and a bad movie.

Took it light today not feeling up to hunting or even shooting cats either. Let dog out who chased cat out back so I even had a better than average shot. Figured with 13th don't push my luck. Prob fall, shoot myself, get cut who the heck knows bet that cat knew though when she spied me and dog. LOL

No Dr. yet its not bad enough yet. Plus want to get back on white deer next week and supposed to go duck hunting want some mallards to eat.LOL

Dr. will say don't go and ask if I am climbing this year. 50 / 50 some days blind and others days ladder stands all depends on how I am feeling. LOL

Prob. wont even tell him I fell last Sat in woods and hurt shoulder either was thinking if that was a good day and that happened again no sense taking chance today for a darn animal.LOL
