Just saw a ad for a nock with a chip in it so you can find it with your cell phone. Says it is good for 100 yards. Might not be a bad idea for 3D shoots.lol

Must’ve been invented by a Mechanical user...

There are probably six guys overreacting to your post even as I’m writing this - railing about Poaching and the continued erosion of Old School ideals.....

But haven’t these people ever heard of pass-throughs?

Oh, well...... Rage on!

I might take a few more sketchy 3D shots if I KNEW I could find my bullets!

Gf you did it posted "RAGE" this thread is doomed now!

Man if they come as glue on nicks I may make some pretty kids arrows. Of cours the nock will probably come off so that's all we would find.

I'm not sure. But those nocks might be illeagle for hunting in Pa.

The other bows ought be good out 200 yards now.

I'm going to agree with Hawkeye 2X in two posts! I'm sure a lot of people lose animals on long shots when they just can't find the trail, but if you get a pass-through and find your arrow, that would sure narrow it down...

And sadly enough, there ARE people out there who will turn a better chance of recovering an animal into an excuse for taking even dumber shots....

Don't laugh but some idiots will say this is a reason why we all should be shooting light weight bows so that we don't get passthroughs. Also, how hard will it be for someone to attach a tracking chip with a barb to an arrow so that the animal gets "tagged" regardless of whether you get a complete pass through or not. There are actually "bowhunters" out there who think crap like this is a good idea.

I’ve taken four shots at grouse this season. Bagged one grouse, lost 2 arrows. Those traceable nocks sound awfully good to me. I’m learning that loosing an arrow through the trees in a brushy, riparian forest is a great way to empty my quiver. I hear them ricocheting off trees and receding into the distance, and that’s it.

I know. If I hit more grouse, I’d probably lose fewer arrows, and I’m working that angle too!

Puma, Be happy your seeing grouse. They use to be plentiful here, now I'm lucky to see one a year.

Also when that arrow is sticking in a tree out of reach the cost just went up. But hey, you'd know where it is:)

Rubber blunts and flu-flus go together like PBJ!

Lousy on squirrels, though....

Out of sheer idle curiosity.... what’s the price gap between one of these and a Lumenock?

I'm with Pearl Drums on this one. (LOL)

Find deer and arrows...we can say there's an app for that now. :)

Guess that means I have to buy a phone now to go hunt?

In realize that I have been very lucky in 40+ years of bow hunting, but I have only lost three deer and four arrows in that amount of time. Deer have broken more than that by falling on them. Also, of those three deer, I saw two of them up walking a week later.

The guy that came up with the "Game Vecter" tried to get me to endorse his product. Kind of PO'ed him when I told him I had no use for it.
