Today's shot will be the vertical obstruction taken from 18 yards, elevated (if you can do it safely). Place obstructions on both sides of the kill zone, and thread the needle! Be safe and God bless

Happy Thursday First Shooters - Hope this day is treating you well. My sweetheart took her first, first shot today and I have to brag on her. She has handled a bow less than 10 times in her life and well, she's an animal!
Shot(s) as called, 18yds, elevated and obstructed. She took the first shot and missed (I think I taught her that move). Her second shot was a real beauty (Black/ White Barred). My first shot was Orange/ White.
Thank you for the call and have a blessed day everyone. PS. I think she is hooked now!

Thanks for the call Big John!
Elevated 12’ shooting my Black Canyon 62”-49# LB. The arrow is an Easton Legacy 2117 with 175 grain FP. Shot at a broadside target at 18 yards.
I brushed the left obstruction so was too far forward of my POA. Good practice for staying focused on a spot.

As called, with the two major obstructions at a measured 8” and place several feet in front of the block.
Tried shooting the Hunter again today, in a Straight-Up target style and turns out I was peeking out around the left-hand side of the string. I guess at least I did it the same way both times...
Got the range adjustment right on the second shot, but not what I had in mind AT ALL.

Thanks for the call, Big John. I've been trying to practice "keyhole" shots through small shot corridors, vertically and horizontally. Shot taken downslope through a slot in the understory.

I hit a small branch, almost invisible in the photo, about 5 yards short of the target, deflected the shot down just enough to hit the bottom of the ball and deflect off that into the backstop below the target.

Shot as called with 51# Yellowstone Hunter with Herritage 150s. A little high and right from where I wanted. Wet misty day today. I shot from under the pavilion roof to stay dry. Nice call!

Thanks for the call Big John. To get elevated I stood on the kitchen porch so mine was a slightly quartering shot. It's been raining so I didn't even grab my glove and shot bare fingered. Bow is a 52"-45# Indian Mohawk and the arrow is POC. Surprised myself! Some fine shooting today as usual. Have a nice evening. Lance.
