I just took it easy today and shot three arrows at 20 yards, arrows a little high, but the grouping I will take.

Thanks for the calls this week Chad.

Now if I can just figure what I did, I will be a happy archer.

No challenge guys, I don't beleive I can do that one over again.

Good evening everyone - I hope you are all safe and sound. We are getting rained out here on the Gulf Coast, but the shooting continues. 11 yards - From the kitchen, down the hall and into the bedroom.

Stay safe everyone and have a great weekend!

That's a good postcard, Ron. Well, even being intimidated by the good shooting today, I put on my serious face and gave it a go. I also shot 3 arrows at 20 yards like my buddy Ron. Richard Korte (nemah) bow, 54"-48# and Nemah POC arrows too. Have a good one. Lance.

I finally got out to shoot today. Haven't shot all week.:^( About a 15yrd shot with my 51# Yellowstone Hunter with Herritage 150s. A little higher than I wanted. But i'll take it. A wet and dreary day for shooting. :^/

Well between work, hunting and nursing a sore shoulder I haven’t shot in 5-6 days. So I gave it try today from 14yds trying to hit the 3/4” square. It was just left. Nice shooting by everyone this weekend. You guys continue to set the bar higher.

Mike

Well you’ll have to take my word for it cause I’m getting the dreaded 500 error

Great shooting everyone especially Draven, great group.

I tried just to see how my luck was going after yesterdays group, sure enough, didn't duplicate, but I will take it......20 yards.

The only way I can get consistent past 25 yards is to shoot a heavier bow, If I could just draw a 60 or 70lb bow without the pain, no more I'm afraid.

Bow Bushman 40lb.

Finally got out; 3PM on a clear but windy day here in Seattle. With all the talk the last few days about solid fiberglass bows I strung up my Pearson 3360 @50#, and a Bear camo 2016. Hard angle at 16yds and standing on the low deck (24") for my shot. Good shooting today folks. Have a good week. Lance.

I stretched one more step out of the back yard and am now crowding 20... FS today was close enough to the golf-ball, horizontally and 2” high. Next three were nothing to strut about but probably still in a pie-plate...

Mountain Man, that is why I have only four left out of 12, those arrows have shot very well out of three different bows of different poundage's, splain that one ricky...Ha!Ha!

Grizz, there aint nothin wrong with those three, good shooting.

I'm on a roll, it will soon pass......Ha!Ha!

Great shooting this weekend. I played around with a new=to-me 1962 Browning Apollo trying to find the best brace height, nocking point, arrow combo, and I'm happy to report that the process started at pretty good and got better. It's 35@28, so shots beyond 25 yards are an acquired addiction..out to 50 yards is just for grins.

I also got started on making the acquaintance of a new-to-me 1963 Browning Medallion, 49#, but both the upper and lower limbs have a bit of twist, more so on the upper, so I have some work to do with a hair dryer before I can get it tuned.

Ron

Howard Hill used to go around at archery clubs he was doing exhibitions at and grab peoples arrows randomly,,all different spine weight even childrens arrows And shoot them to show people spine weight can be over came or doesnt matter as much as they think Now i dont claim i can do that,,and in my opinion it had alot to do with his shooting style,,,,and the fact he was Howard Hill but i shoot certain arrows that are stiffer and lesser then the bows draw weight and get them to preform decent

His mommom and poppop just bought him vintage Black Bear compound. Brian at Archery in the Glen Allentown set up the bow and tied in a peep, replaced the whisker biscuit and gave him a lesson - all for $40. Sent him on his way w/a 1/2 doz. Gamegetters and he is a happy camper.
