Today's shot will be the long bomb. Shoot 2 arrows from as far as you dare, then shoot 2 more at the half way mark. Have fun!

God Bless,

You guys are killing me with all these long bombs! I figured out how to stretch to about 18, but that’s as good as it gets!

So I did something a little bit different this evening and screwed in a couple of Magness to Blades to see how they’re hitting, even though the shafts are 2016‘s and this particular bow really calls for 1916‘s or so. But then again I am using 5 inch off-set fletchings, so maybe it’s a wash…

First shot was exactly right for elevation, and 1ball to the left, so I guess I missed dead center by a golf ball and a half. Second shot was almost right down the middle, but as you can see, it was a real flamethrower - sparks flew!! Crazy thing is that I think I got away with one and it was the ferrule that took the brunt of it.

Boy, windy today with the weather changing. The orange wrapped arrows are from 18yds and I was trying for the upper thigh area and the other 2 are from 35yds and I was attempting the boiler room. The bow is a 40# drake and the arrows are cedar. Thanks for the call CD, and I hope you all have (had) a great day. Lance.

Thanks for the call CD!

The last shot on my bales, Batman suggested I suffered from having too many targets in my view so I took 2 of them down and left the one in the middle. I think you were right Batman! Thanks for the tip. :-)

I shot 2 from 40 and 2 from 20.

I'm bummed tonight because I can't watch our Cleveland Indians. Our cable carrier does not have the MLBN. Grrrr!

All have a great weekend!

Just made it before dark. I shot 2, 30 yarders, top 2 , and 2 15s, lower ones. Pulled everything left but the barred at 15. Im not unhappy though, at least I was kinda consistent......just left. Shooting the Widow overdraw.

Not very far, but I shot my long shots from 30 yards. The first shot is the yellow arrow. My second shot was low and wide right. My next shots at 15 where in the center. Used my bear takedown with 45 pound limbs.

God Bless,

CD

My mother in law showed up today and I couldn't get out to shoot. Strange how some people put a damper on things.

Thanks for the call. Got home late, dark coming on hard, so I grabbed the closest bow and an arrow. I recalled from this AM it was a bomb followed by a shot from half the distance. So I took one from 44 yards. I was amazed that I even hit the backstop! Followed up at 22 yards with same arrow. Sometimes its okay not to take it seriously.
