Thanks for the call CD. I was trying to put the 10 and 20 yard shots in his right antler and the 30 in his left. I did better than expected and surprised myself. I pulled the 30 a little right and low. Shooting a Ben Pearson Colt, 62"-50# and what BATMAN calls my "purdy arrows". Have a good day. Lance

Good shooting today, gang. No pics from me. The dogs and I had an uncomfortably tense and prolonged confrontation with a mama bear with three cubs on our walk before sunrise, and I think the tension affected my shooting. 10 yards was okay, but 20 was 10 inches wide and 30 missed the backstop altogether..not posting a photo of that.
Wish I would have taken my phone on our morning hike...I could post a photo of a particularly stubborn young mama bear. It turns out the cubs ran in opposite direction when the snarling, barking, bluff charging and shouting was going full volume, and mama was paralyzed with indecision, unsure which way to go. I know this because the dogs and I ran into the third cub when we headed the opposite way mama did.
