Today's shot will be 14 yards from an elevated position. Use what you can to get elevated or simulate shooting from an elevated position.
God Bless,

Shot taken as called from the kitchen porch. Thanks CD. Grizz-cute dog! Good shooting today too. When mine left the bow I thought it was gonna be way low, but I surprised myself. Wing T-Bird, 52"-46# and an autumn orange 2016. I hope that you all have a great day. Lance.

Great shootin everybody! Went huntin for the NOT so elusive " Busch" squirrel, they're thick around here. Found one lurking around my target butt this evening and popped him dang near dead center. Funny thing about a " Busch" squirrel is that theres never a blood trail.....as a matter of fact ,their void of any kind of body fluids at all! Also they have a short life span, as I find dead ones nearly every day. Their easy to track after a hit though, as they always fall where you hittem. Shot as called off a bucket, without the elevation.Shooting my old 50's Stemmler Turk, Cedar shaft and Tusker Concorde broadhead.

I've been deliberately looking for "thread the needle" shots, as so many of my shots seem to involve targets outside my "shooting lanes" where each step presents a completely different shot. Today's shot was as called, at last light. Its astounding how much potential interference with the arrows path you miss at low light, and how the target is almost always farther away than you think.
