Today's shot will be elevated from 11 yards. Use what ever you can to get SAFELY elevated. Shooting from the ground is OK, if need be.

Thanks again for all the prayers and good wishes during our bought with IRMA. A big shout out to Chad, as he pulled double duty so I could get things back to 'normal' around the house.

God bless - Big John

shot from lawn chair. wearing Boxcall hat and Big Bear jacket (it's 89F, and feels like 103F... but it was worth it! :))

using maddog pp 37#@28", 1000spine ultra skinny 28.25" with 90gr up front.

...this is another bow that I really like.

Thank you Big John for making the call. I'm glad things are coming back to normal (or close to it) for you!

Hope everyone have a good day today! -ted

No. Just having fun. We have plenty of seed ticks around so I thought I would create a seed squatch. ))

Good evening First Shooters! No simulated targets were harmed as a result of the first shot today... the second shot either for that matter.

Standing on a wooden table, 18 yards to the bandit.

Have a great night everyone!

Shot off the ground. These are my first 3 shots out of my new to me Bear Montana longbow that showed up on my door step. Got it from Animal on a trade. Went great ! Using Easton Axis Traditional arrows. Shooting at small dot that the arrows are around. Thanks for the call

Using the Hi-Speed today from the backyard ladder stand. #1 was an old cedar shaft with an unknown broad head on it that I got somewhere. This bow didn’t like it and it sailed high.

Thanks for the call Big John

Truly first shot as this was the maiden voyage with this new to me 58" Silvertip, 55#@28", cedar shafts with Snuffer broadheads... I'd say she's a shooter!
