Hello I have this white wing right hand bow I need to get a string for I wanna trade it for a left hand bow but it don't have the weight or amo marked on it and the bow from tip to tip measure 68" I need to get a string ordered so I can check the weight what size do I order for a 68" recurve? Thanks

I have two swift wings and a silver wing. All are 66 inches marked. However, when I ordered the B55 strings from Tammy Palmer of flemishbowstrings.com, I measured nock to nock unstrung and ordered an 65" amo string (61" actual length). I got an 8 strand string for my 30 pounder.

Lol good advice except amo standard is 3 inches shorter than the bow no matter recurve or longbow. Doesnt matter tho if it's a reputable string maker they'll know that. It should be 66 but maybe they did make a 68. When you measure do so from tip to tip along the belly side. Do not follow contours except around the recurves. If it 68 order 68 amo, is 66 then 66 amo. If made right once the bows strung itll be 3 inches shorter than that number.
