I decided to get out of the house for awhile this afternoon and went to a local antique store to see if I could find anything. Much to my amazement I found a bow, quiver, arrows, glove and armguard. 3 of the arrows match and all are 27-1/2". The glove and armguard are both old King Archery items, and I can't find a mark on the quiver. It's "leatherette" as they use to say and the pouch is leather, with a good working zipper. I'll let the bow speak for itself. Everything you see was under $50.00, making this an exceptionately sweet purchase. Thanks for tlooking, Lance.

And to get it all for $50 in an "antique" store.... Exceptional! Those are garage sale prices!!!

I have a Hoyt just like that but as a 49# lefty. I don't have a Chrono, but it seems pretty fast to me. I don't shoot it near enough.

Congrats on your find.

Sweet find! Any Idea what year that bow was made?

From: Knifeguy
Date: 23-Sep-17

FWIW, My educated guess would be the early 1950's and no later than '55-'56. Lance.

Hello again. I showed the bow to Jay St Charles yesterday and he dug this old ad out of a 1955 Archery Magazine and I thought I'd share. Not only does it show this bow, check out the r/d longbow! Thanks for looking and letting me share again. Lance.
