Might as well start this up. I know Shadehaven killed a big buck the first day. Feel free to post another pic on this thread Brian.

It's been so hot and humid, I haven't hunted much, but I was out this morning. Had a little non legal buck come in early and then this doe an hour or so later. Made a good shot on her, heart and lungs, she sprinted about 40 yds. and was down in about 10 seconds.

Shot her with one of my 50s curves 47#, a Surewood doug fir shaft and a 2 blade Zwickey Delta. Glad it was close to home, I had her cut in pieces and on ice by 11AM. Good luck everyone this season

Good job and excellent shot placement. Saw three bucks together this morning. Two 8pts and a 6pt. One 8 & the 6 rubbed the same tree. Neat to watch them interact with each other. The closest they got was about 30 yards so I wasn't tempted to shoot. A great morning...saw 9 deer total and my brother killed a nice doe with a perfect heart shot. Hopefully, the weather gets more conducive for hunting. Good luck to all the PA guys and ladies.

Got lucky last night. Had this guy come by right before dark. When I drew on him my drawing elbow hit my harness strap, (guess I didn't lean out far enough.) To make matters worse I hit my forearm pretty good w the bowstring, plus the light was pretty dim by then and I lost track of the arrow. I heard the arrow hit, but didn't know where, so I decided to give him some time. As it turns out the hit was a little back, but he didn't go 100 yds.

Shot with one of my 50s recurves, Surewood doug fir shaft and a 2 blade Grizzly.

I set a stand Sunday on a farm Tami got permission to hunt on last night was her first set on it. Right before dark this guy came down and messed around her a little to long and gave her a 15yrd broadside shot big mistake. She was almost to excited to shoot but she did hit the buck perfect. The arrow hit a rib threw lung dead center thru hart and into offside lung he made a 50rd dash and crash. This was her first trad kill to say she was excited is a understatement. She used her Fox High Sierra she is hitting 28 to 30 lbs at her draw it has a 6 strand skinny string and is a fast bow. The arrow is a GT 15-35 traditional 30" to spine it right with a hair shaving sharp 125gr Woodsman Elite broadhead (love these heads). Widow

I have just now seen this thread for the first time! Way to go Dale, good job layin em down!

I'd have been happy with both those 8 points.

I guess Ill throw mine up here, even tho you've all seen it. Just for the record I would have wacked a 3 point half rack if I'd have seen one. I'm not deserving of a 114" 7 point.
