I went out hunting this am. The air con was running at 4:15 a.m. It was really hot (at least for us in WI) and the mosquitoes drove me out by 7:45. I can handle a little sweating but not the bugs...

Happy Autumn Dan, It doesn't feel like fall as I mow the grass again! This many cuttings is getting ridiculous, and the sweat bees are out in full force.

Season opens on October 1st here. Went fishing today. It's been around 90 the last few days. About noon I'd had enough of that. Sure hope it cools off before the opener.

I live in Mississippi but hunted in Missouri earlier this week for 2 days until I decided it was too hot. The deer were moving & giving me shots but I just couldn't make myself shoot with a heat index of 99 degree's. Upper 70's is better but come on fall temperatures. Good luck to all.
