Lord please deliver John from the high sugars and get them under control. Help the Dr. look into whatever else could be an underlying issue as well and advise treatments to help him get things managed properly.
We ask this in Jesus name that you get John back on the mend and feeling better and teach him what he is to do to avoid this and control it all better.
Thank you Lord our father our healer for hearing our prayers and us having a way to come to you in need.
On another note 700 is not that high. I have had sugars they could not check in hospital with out sending out blood test the machines didn't go as high as I was. I think it was 1650 when the test came back. I have walked around with sugars 600 to 800 already and got them down myself and boy was I beat up when they started coming down. I was high as a kite too. Very dangerous.
Id rather have highs than the lows I get at times also its brutal. Full insulin I'm on so always trying to manage and when I misbehave welp just a yo yo goin down.
Theres a number of things they can do but they have to educate John on whats best and then see how his body adjusts to it and its going to take a little while till he gets this under good management or enough he can survive.

OMG he had gang green? I worry about these things myself when I cut myself. My mom lost toes, leg, fingers but I thank the Lord I am still good myself. She was on dialysis for close to 10 years finally her heart gave out.
Craig ask John to ask Dr. about Tojao and Trulicity. Both of those have helped me a great deal. I have both types I and II I'm on full insulin myself and its a challenge when I am out hunting I leave it high because I had fainting issues going low. One time I had to walk 200 yards and when I got out of tree I was sideways big time and nearly didn't make it back to truck to get me a soda fix to get sugars up.
When I get super lows takes couple days to level back out again. If its high I just spike it down with insulin. I am on 4 different insulin's.
Thats why I pee in my scrapes and they tear them up big time from the sugar in urine.
Wow lost toe. TG Lord for allowing me my limbs to date. I need to be even more thankful.
John we are praying for you. Dr. once told me years ago don't worry about holidays its a sugar fest when yur on insulin you can spike it down. He was a diabetic also.
What he didn't tell me was how beat up you can get with the up and downs.
And wait till he starts getting the cramps from peeing all the time and they are so painful you think you will die at times when they don't let up. He has to drink plenty of water also to stay hydrated.
This isn't any fun hopefully he can get sugars under control and not let them control him with the sweets.
This also means he needs to get an endocrinologist Dr. to help him manage the diabetes. Now he's going to be a cash cow.
Lord please watch over John as well of all us who don't take this serious enough to change our bad habits.

Prayer sent. My preacher told a story last Sunday about a man that had some some misfortune and his neighbor tried to console the man. The man told the neighbor, "It's too soon to tell". Then some good fortune came from the misfortune he had received. The neighbor again was there but this time was very upbeat about what had happened; again the man replied, "It's too soon to tell". This misfortune, then good fortune continued on a couple of more rounds with the same responses. The point is that God does have a plan and is in control. My prayer is this misfortune turns into a positive for him.

Here's a breakfast for you John. Eggs all sorts of veggies and fresh herbs from garden with garlic venison sausage.
Made myself enough for 2 days breakfasts. I plated up what I am eating and it is good for me. Tall glass of lemon water to stay healthy to be able to hunt.
Low sugars are whats going to screw you more and you have to eat enough and watch the amount of insulin going in that you might need.
Its a real juggling act I tell you so its going to take time to learn or should I say begin to learn what your body will do.
Lord help John learn this and send educators to him that can make it easier for him to learn. Help him to read up on line as much as he can educate himself on.
Higher doses of insulin will cause you to retain weight and water and be harder to loose on it.
Another struggle to face as well.
Trulicity and Tojao ask your Dr. and check it out its helping me.
Lord help this man deal with this change please. Thank you Jesus.
