I had just enough time tonight to shoot a hand full of arrows. When I came back to where I left my bow, the setting sun was making that golden wood glow. As usual the pic doesn't do it justice. Have a good night everyone :)

Beautiful. Really like Osage. At some point I hope to make a shootable selfbow out of it.

Nice. Brings new meaning to the phrase "striking gold".

Hey, that may be the name of my next osage bow.

My Arvin made work of art will probably never reach that color. I keep it in the house and shoot it indoors. It seldom sees any sunlight. That is very pretty though.>>>----> Ken

Now that is a look that cannot be attained by a metal riser. Gorgeous wood and beautiful in the simplicity of the bow. Makes me want one.

It looks mighty nice from where I'm setting, Steve. Beautiful bow! What are you using for a shelf? I can't tell in the picture.

Bob, it's a wedge of wood.

Thanks Steve, I wasn't sure if it was wood, a section of antler, or what. Again, she's a beauty. I'd like to own one like it some day.
