Heres the bow. Picture of group is coming. The 21 in with long li.bs 40 lbs is very smooth to draw. Shoots great and is really quiet.

Nice! Where did the brace height settle in?

From: Crow
Date: 19-Aug-17

8 3/4. May need tweaked some. Under 8 1/2 it was noisey.

From: Bobby B
Date: 19-Aug-17

Hey Crow, just curious, you said set tiller... I assume that it came set even like mine did, so did you change it? Do you draw split or 3 under?

I've kept mine at a higher brace height too for the same reason as you.

Great bow.

From: Flyfish

My 21" with long limbs is dead quiet at 8" brace. I ditched those Hoyt silencers and tied on cat whiskers. Something to consider... I am shooting a 10gpp arrow also which helps.

Love the color. That's what mine should look like.

From: Crow
Date: 19-Aug-17

Bobby the tiller on mine wasalot closert at top than bottom. I shoot 3 under. I set th tiller to 1/8 in closer at bottom. I think it was 7 1/8 at top and 7 ar bottom.I like both the 19 and 21 but the 21 is probably going to be my favorite. I think I will end up with medium limbs in the wood g r ain finish and hunt with it.Im going to play around with a little weight added to the lower left side of the riser for a dead stop feel from the bow after the shot.

From: Crow
Date: 19-Aug-17

Jerry I may add some beaver balls later. May take the hoyt ones off not sure.

From: Treeman
Date: 19-Aug-17

Are those the Hoyt limbs? How do you like them? Right now I have 45# Black Max 2.0 shorts and I think I want less weight and long limbs.

From: M60gunner

Nice setup for sure. looks like a nice 3D rig.

Whats that black thing on the front

From: Barber
Date: 19-Aug-17

When I had my Hoyt Buffalo I tossed the factory string silencers and put on. Beaver balls. I use them on all my bows, makes a lot of difference. But I first tune a bow with no silencers the best I can then I put the silencers on to fine tune it

Thats what I did Barber. Treeman those are hoyt limbs 40 lb longs. I really like them too.Baby saph the black is a heavily dense foam rubber use in industrial applicaons to insulate chiller lines. Makes a great tarbet face and takes alot of shots.

Sorry for the double tap. My point on seem to be right at 32 yards with this set up.

Hopefully mine will be here this next week. It's been almost 3 weeks waiting on it now. He said if I wanted a black riser and one of the other camo limbs he could get it pretty quick but when he called to order it they told him the 19 inch riser in buckskin they were behind on orders for. Told him about 4 weeks. I told him I would wait , it's not like I don't have other bows to shoot ! LOL

"...Baby saph the black is a heavily dense foam rubber use in industrial applicaons to insulate chiller lines...."

Me thinks he's asking about the stabilizer. :^)

Good for you Crow. Beautiful bow. I wish I could shoot mine as well as you shoot yours.

Good for you Crow. That is the color that I wanted but I am going to have to make do. I sold my left handed riser this morning and bought a used black one. I am thinking of painting it an olive drab green just to be different.

From: spike78

Someone on EBay has the Satoris on there and seems like a good deal and would ship faster and free. I guess it depends on what limbs your looking for.

From: Crow
Date: 19-Aug-17

Lehman,, you might think about having it dipped. I striped a hoytcompound . Meaning took everything off including bearings from cams. Had the riser and limbs and limb pockets dipped in a skull pattrn once.It turnd out realky nice.It started out as a chrome cams and limb pockets target bow and ended up anice hunting bow. The limb pockets and cams and limb bolts I had done in black.Maybe a nice flame Satori. Yeahh

Sorry,,,, yest the black thing is a stableizer.

Great bow and even better shooting!

From: Brad Lehmann

No, I don't think so. I am old and conservative. Not looking for a "look at me" bow.

From: EF Hutton

I find those string leeches are most quiet very near the end, as opposed to mid way, on all bows i set up.

And i also recently found that the bowjx super slip jax, from Lancaster, Are much much better than the Limbsaver Leech.

From: EF Hutton
Date: 19-Aug-17

I think you made excellent choices on that.

From: EF Hutton
Date: 19-Aug-17

I also applaud the stabilizer.

I put one on a 74 KH and it balances perfectly. Groups are robin hood deadly.

Debates for/against stabilizers is best settled on a friendly range.

From: Crow
Date: 19-Aug-17

Thankyou EFHutton, Ive often thought those bow jax would work great just never tried them. Lehman even a camo patern would be nice. I understand though , I like the black and the buckskin. They j u st look right.

It looks so light and nimble. Very nice looking. Gotta like the wood grip.

From: Nalajr

I've been admiring those risers for a bit now. I really like the looks. I've been contemplating trading my Morrison 17" for a Sartori 17", but nothing serious yet. I also like the Black Wolf risers too, those all carbon risers.

So many great ILF risers available for us to enjoy.

Nice bow and pics OP. Thanks for posting them.

I love that buckskin color. As simple as it is, its catchy. Nice bow.

From: Crow
Date: 23-Aug-17

I cant chriny but yes it is a 66 in bow with the long limbs.I beleive I would like 62 or 64 for hunting but it shoots great.

From: Tal McNeill
Date: 23-Aug-17

Nice. I've been drooling over these since they came out...seriously considering the 17".

One question: Do they tend to tip back on the shot? The other Hoyt risers I've owned (Excel and Dorado) tended to tip back quite a bit.

Thanks.

From: Bloodtrailin
Date: 23-Aug-17

How's the noise

From: Crow
Date: 23-Aug-17

No tip back just kind of dead in the hand. My upper limb does want to lean slightly to the right after the shot. No noise with mine.

Sent you a pm

My right hand riser came in today. A 19" in black. My hodge podge Satori is complete again. I had bought a left handed bow with Xtour limbs for less than the price of a new Dorado. I sold the lh riser and bought a rh riser for the same amount last Saturday. Put it together, set the nock point, adjusted tiller and let a few fly. I am undecided as of now. Mine is noisy even at 8 3/4" bh. I can't stand noisy bows. I put some puffs in the string and now all that I hear is string slap. I will come up with something for that this afternoon. It seems to pattern good even though I haven't fine tuned it or picked out an arrow.

As you age your bow gets quieter

From: Brad Lehmann
Date: 24-Aug-17

LOL, I suppose so. Maybe yours isn't as quiet as you think it is.

From: Crow
Date: 24-Aug-17

I know. Now you got me thinkin maybe my bow is why I cant hit anything. The targes hear it and move.lol
