Wasn't that a whiskey or bourbon? Seems remember platoon mates inbubing it.
That is a nifty feather cutting rig

That's a neat looking idea. Saw it on YouTube. May I ask where you got yours?

Now I think that is a GREAT idea. I tried to find an economically feasible way to make those but never thought of plastic mass production.
You won't need a rotary cutter as they suggest though. A pair of sharp scissors works fine, cutting toward the bird end of the feather.
Here's how I did it.

Guess I will have to reach out to Fairbow. Went through that website and did not find the item. At least their website converts the money to US dollars unlike TopHat's site.

So how does the rotary cutter compare to scissors?

I don't see a shield cut or a french curve. Can they make the more intricate shapes or is it just the simple, linear shapes and curves?

That's pretty neat. If you turn it over will it cut left wing. :-)

Several shapes available. I had a left one made. Simple shapes nothing tight will work with the rotary color. Your only limited by you imagination as always. French curve I've tried. Back to the burner as my chopper is dull. Rooty

Rooty,
Thank you for cluing us in on this concept/product. I ended up looking over their site and ordering a 4" and 5" Shield and a 3" Parabolic template to replace some of my choppers that have seen better days.
Three styles, delivered, for under $15. I look forward to trying them.
Thanks again!
Daryl
